Many people dream of riding the range and experiencing the cowboy life. We can offer all types of ranches across Western Canada and the USA from real working ranches to resort style ranches, which still retain their heritage. Whether you want to incorporate a ranch stay as part of a longer fly drive, or make it the principal part of your holiday, we have a ranch for you. Our specialist Ranch Rider brochure is available to help you start on your journey to the cowboy West.
B.C. Ferries
Port Hardy - Prince Rupert

Every other day BC Ferries leave either Port Hardy or Prince Rupert for the 15 hours daylight journey through the Inside Passage between Vancouver Island and Prince Rupert. From onboard many visitors will have the opportunity of seeing eagle, seal and whales. Moose and bears are often seen on the coastline. It is normally a smooth passage as the ferry travels in sheltered waters for most of the journey. Reclining seats are available on deck or you may, for a small supplement, book a private day cabin. It is worth remembering that this ferry, whose primary purpose is to serve the local community, cruises down one of the world’s most beautiful stretches of water.

The ferry travels on alternate days North and South beginning in mid May until late September - please ask for details and prices. We can also book Alaska Marine Ferries from Prince Rupert-Juneau-Skagway.
Zip Trekking in Whistler
Experience the thrill and adventure

High above the township of Whistler, in and around the mountains, a new phenomenon that operates during summer and winter is attracting many visitors from around the world. After being fitted with your harness you then drive in a 4x4 vehicle and by utilising a number of zips you come down the mountain.

What is a zip?
Basically a zip is crossing from one side of the valley to another, often at a height in excess of 300ft above the ground, using gravity on a wire similar to that used for a cable car. It is a very exhilarating experience! The adventure takes between 2 to 3 hours. This excursion should be pre-booked. There is a min age of 7 and a min weight of 30 kilos (max weight 136 kilos).
