WIN a 7 day Nova Scotia Adventure!

Nova Scotia Competition entry form - Tourism Nova Scotia and The Independent Traveller are offering you the chance to experience the magic of a holiday in Nova Scotia.

The prize includes direct flight from London to the capital city of the Province Halifax. Then 7 nights hotel and car hire are also included. There are as you would expect some rules and they can be found on To enter answer the following question.

PLEASE NOTE: We never share your email address with 3rd parties.

Nova Scotia is located on Canada’s east coast. It’s largest city, Halifax, is the gateway to both the province and surrounding area. Prior to commercial flights becoming the norm, virtually all immigrants to Canada came through the port of Halifax. Today their story is told at the city’s Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, which is well worth a visit.

Thought by many to be either the first or certainly one of the first European settlements in North America, today Nova Scotia has a rich and diverse offering spanning outdoor adventure, cultural travel and outstanding culinary experiences.

Tourism Nova Scotia and its long-time partner The Independent Traveller are pleased to offer the chance to win a 7 day holiday in Nova Scotia this summer. All you have to do to enter the draw is provide your details and answer the qualifying question.

The prize which is for 2 people is highlighted below:

Day 1 Travel from London Heathrow on Air Canada to Halifax, transfer to your downtown hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2 Time to take in all that Halifax has to offer including the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 and the city’s bustling waterfront. In the evening why not visit one of the lively pubs.

Day 3 Pick up your hire car and drive to Peggy’s Cove to see its iconic lighthouse and then on to the historic fishing town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 4 Drive across the province via the beautiful Kejimikujik National Park and National Historic Site to the Digby area. Digby, famous for its scallops and whale watching, is situated on the Bay of Fundy with the largest tidal reach in the world at 53 feet.

Day 5 Drive through the scenic Annapolis Valley, abundant with fruit and vegetables, via Wolfville to Truro. Enroute take some time to visit Annapolis Royal and the Habitation at the Port-Royal National Historic Site, one of the first European settlements in North America.

Day 6 and 7 Continue to Cape Breton and travel the iconic Cabot Trail, a stunning coastal drive acknowledged as one of the best in North America. There is lots to see and enjoy, including The Fortress of Louisbourg and the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Sites.

Day 8 Today you return to Halifax, the provincial capital, for your late evening return flight with Air Canada to London Heathrow.

Closing date is 1st April 2018. The winner will be the first correct entry drawn at random after the competition closes.
